About Landslide

Type: gelding

Congratulations to the new owners of Landslide!

2007 Oldenburg Gelding
Landkonig x Pik Immer
16.2hh, Bright bay with four white socks

Schooling 3rd level, starting some 4th level movements. Easy lateral movements (half pass, renvers, travers), starting canter half-pass, lengthen-collection transitions, walk pirouettes, does auto-hunter changes and transitioning to dressage-cue changes! Good to sit, and naturally light and soft in the hand. Sensitive but sensible, “Simon” has proven to be very trainable, and works hard to do what rider asks.

Simon has demonstrated his sound mind and temperament at competitions, off-farm training sessions, on trail rides, and other activities. He is built to suit a variety of riders, taking up leg without riding or feeling too big.

Simon is sound and healthy. He has clean x-rays from a 2015 vetting with no soundness concerns since. No joint maintenance required. Front shoes only.

He is easy to handle, good for vet and farrier, loads, bathes, clips, cross-ties, etc. (has a huge, full tail, too!)

“Simon” is a very cool horse, and hard to find in this price range! Simon is very suitable for an AA or JR/YR who wants to learn, compete and have fun. He will be ready to compete this spring with his new rider, and with consistent training development, shows the ability be successful at the PSG level.
